Controller and scope

The data controller is ZUFNARU ALPHA S.L. (CIF B67466144), Calle Santiago Rusiñol 23, 08222 Terrassa, Spain — eplotera@googlegroups.com. This policy applies to the ePlotera website, application and published-stories service.

Data, purposes and legal bases

We process account and authentication data; contact details; manuscripts, notes, images, projects and publications; collaborator and invitation data; usage, device, IP, security and error logs; and subscription, payment and billing data. We use them to perform the service contract, secure and support the service, comply with legal obligations and, only with consent, measure marketing-site usage. The launch version does not use AI and does not send manuscripts to AI providers.

Providers and international transfers

Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, databases, storage and hosting; Stripe processes subscriptions and payments; Resend sends transactional email; Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity provide optional analytics after consent. These providers process data under their contractual safeguards. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data or manuscripts.

Retention and deletion

Operational data is kept while the account is active and only as long as needed afterwards. Account deletion immediately removes public stories and locks access. Private source data is retained for a 14-day security recovery period and then deleted; residual backups expire within 30 additional days. Published works are not automatically republished after restoration. Billing and transaction records may be retained separately for the periods required by tax, accounting and legal-claims rules.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction or objection and may withdraw consent at any time by writing to eplotera@googlegroups.com. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Requests are subject to identity verification and applicable legal exceptions.

YouTube: playback on request

ePlotera (ZUFNARU ALPHA S.L.) loads Google/YouTube only when you click Watch demo, independently of your analytics choice. We use youtube-nocookie.com, the privacy-enhanced mode. Google receives your IP, device and playback data and may use cookies or local storage. This mode does not guarantee no tracking. Session cookies exclusively necessary for requested playback differ from advertising or measurement cookies; not all YouTube storage is necessarily exempt from consent. Purposes and duration depend on Google’s service and are detailed in its policy. Transfers outside the EEA may occur. Closing removes the player, but not data already received or third-party cookies, which you can remove in your browser. On mobile, the link opens YouTube directly.
